Meet The Staff
Lauren Stephenson is the co-owner and artistic director of DanceVibe. Miss Lauren started her formal dance training at age 4. She danced competitively and received numerous awards and titles. While attending the University of Pittsburgh, she received formal training and credit courses in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. She was also a member of the Pittsburgh Dance Ensemble and the University of Pittsburgh’s Dance Production. Miss Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree from Penn State and was a teacher in the West Shore School District. At this time, she also instructed a national champion dance team, Tyme 2 Danz. She was nominated by her students for Atlantic Cheer and Dance’s “Coach of the Year”. She also received her NDA Dance Director Certification and became a Certified Mat and Ball Pilates Instructor. Miss Lauren has instructed dance classes across Central Pennsylvania since 1996 and continues to better her dance education by attending dance conventions each year. Some of these include NYCDA, JUMP, NUVO, The Pulse, and The Dance Teacher Summit in NYC. She has trained with Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, Finis Jhung, Desmond Richardson, Brian Freidman, Denise Wall, among others. Besides dancing, Miss Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids.

Loren Ferster started dancing in her hometown studio at age 5 and hasn’t stopped! In the
5th grade, she got the opportunity to perform with the Louisville Ballet Company in their
version of The Nutcracker and was hooked. After high school she attended Shenandoah
University where she got her BFA in Musical Theatre. While in school, she also attended
NYU’s CAP21 summer program in New York City. After graduation, Loren performed
with several theaters in central Pa as well as with The Lost Colony in Manteo, NC.
She also lived in NYC where she spent time auditioning and working/taking class at
Broadway Dance Center. Outside of dance, Loren is a singer/songwriter who is learning
guitar and loves the outdoors! Loren has always had a strong passion for dance and
choreography so she is thrilled to be teaching at DanceVibe!
Jenn Woodworth, a former Denver Bronco Cheerleader, has been studying dance for over 24 years. With extensive training in various forms of dance, Jenn has been fortunate enough to dance professionally across the continent. From performing with the hit rock band Lifehouse in Hawaii, to entertaining guests in a luxury hotel in Mexico, Jenn has always had a passion for dance.
In Utah, Jenn was selected as an All State Dancer recognizing her as one of the top 20 dancers in the state. She was privileged to receive extensive training from renowned dancer/choreographer Bonnie Story. Jenn also danced with the Utah Valley University Dance Team and was captain her final year.
As an NFL cheerleader, Jenn performed at all home games, numerous charity events, & promotional events. She was a Junior Denver Bronco Cheerleader Instructor where she taught and mentored young future cheerleaders. She was selected to guest host on the T.V shows John Lynch Live & Jay Cutler Live, and was profiled in the Denver Broncos Magazine & Game Day Magazine. Jenn was awarded Rookie of the Year, selected by coaches to be the Pro Bowl representative, and served as a Captain. But her most proud accomplishment was “Cheer for the Troops,” a Christmas charity she founded & organized. The charity is still going strong, providing care packages to hundreds of men & women serving our country.
Jenn has taught at various studios and workshops throughout Utah, Colorado, and Pennsylvania. Her work has won awards on both state and national levels. Outside of dance, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children.
Stephanie Learish, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, began her dance training at the age of four with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary. She holds a BFA in dance with a concentration in ballet from Point Park University. Stephanie has appeared in Point Park University’s performance at the Byham in Balanchine’s Raymonda Variations, as a soloist. She has studied under the direction of Laszlo Berdo, Leslie Hench, Darla Hoover, Susan Stowe, Dana Arey, and Peter Merz. In December 2012, Stephanie was a guest artist for the Johnstown Concert Ballet performing the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker. Ms. Learish competed in Boston’s International Ballet Competition as well as attending summer programs at the School of American Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Central PA Youth Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She began her professional career with the Montgomery Ballet for the 2013-2014 season as a corps de ballet dancer. Stephanie is excited to be back home teaching with DanceVibe while obtaining her Physical Therapy Assistant degree.
Angela Choate, a native of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, began dancing at the age of three with Dalinda Dance Studio in Saint Clair, PA. Throughout her training at Dalinda Dance Studio, she trained in ballet and jazz, with an emphasis on tap and pair dancing styles. Angela graduated from Elizabethtown College with a bachelor’s in Elementary and Special Education and a master’s from Wilkes University in Early Childhood Literacy. At Elizabethtown College she took numerous courses in both ballet and jazz through the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. During those four years, she was active member of Emotion, Elizabethtown College’s dance club performing mostly in jazz and tap routines. Also, Angela was a tap choreographer for the Emotion Club. She is currently employed with Cumberland Valley School District. Angela is very excited to be doing the two things she loves most- teaching and dancing.
Bridgid Wills started dancing at the age of 16 in Gettysburg, PA. After only two years of formal training, she was accepted into Temple University's dance program, where she met and danced with Allyson Yost. She later graduated from UNC Greensboro with a BA in Dance, with a concentration in Choreography. Right out of college, Bridgid was a ballroom dance instructor, where she won her first professional competition. Bridgid has taught numerous styles of dance to various ages over the last 13 years, but is excited to be back teaching her passion, modern dance.
A native of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, Jennifer began her dance education at the age of three with Linn McDonald in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Her dance training has spanned across more than thirty-five years and includes studies in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop and musical theater. Jennifer achieved membership into Dance Educators of America in 1992 and has studied with many notable professionals including David Howard, Frank Hatchett, Roni Mahler, Joe Tremaine and Laurie Johnson. Her additional training includes classes at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Central California Ballet and Virginia Ballet Theatre. In addition to over 18 years’ experience instructing dance and choreographing, Jennifer has a strong performance background that ranges from soloist roles in full length ballets to company member of Without Walls, a regional contemporary dance company. When not dancing, Jennifer resides in Carlisle and works as an investment professional.
In addition to working as a receptionist at DanceVibe in the evenings, Lisa has spent the last 14years teaching gymnastics to preschool and school-age children. As a part of the DanceVibe family, she enjoys seeing all of the smiling faces come through the studio door and watching all of our beautiful dancers learn and grow!
Lisa and her husband, Joe, have three daughters. Carina and Julianne are Pre-Professional Company dancers, while Emily currently attends Drexel University.
